Free Admission for Kids at San Diego Zoo & Wild Animal Park in October!

October 3, 2010  |  Free Admission, Free For Kids  |  No Comments

Free San Diego Zoo Admission

No strings attached — kids ages 11 and younger get FREE admission to both the San Diego Zoo and the zoo’s Wild Animal Park in Escondido, every day in October. You don’t have to be a San Diego area resident for the free admission.

It’s a fantastic opportunity for young kids to visit one of the top zoos in the world without having to pay an admission price. A San Diego Zoo child’s ticket (ages 3 – 11) usually costs $27 .  Adult tickets  (ages 12+) are still full price — $37 per person. Prices are the same for the Wild Animal Park, now known as the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.

Make the most of your visit by checking out both the zoo’s and the park’s scheduled activities. There are numerous free keeper talks during the day, where kids and adults can learn more about certain zoo animals.

Download a free coloring page for the Zoo or Safari Park. Color it with crayons, marker or paints. Turn it into the zoo or park and you’ll be entered into a weekly drawing for a free t-shirt and plush toy animal.
